New MTM330 Heavy-Duty Soil Mixer: 7m Ultra-Deep Mixing Solution For 30–45 Ton Excavators

Across global civil engineering and environmental restoration markets, project requirements for soil stabilization are getting tougher year after year. Highway expansion, full-basin river dredging and industrial site cleanup jobs now routinely demand deeper soil treatment layers and higher daily processing volumes. Many large contractors currently face a clear equipment mismatch: standard mid-size mixing heads can't reach deep enough ground strata, while dedicated stationary deep mixing machines cost too much to haul between scattered job sites.

To offer a practical, cost-effective alternative tailored for heavy excavator fleets, MOTEK Construction Machinery has launched its brand-new MTM330 hydraulic soil mixing head, designed exclusively for 30–45 ton excavators. This model adopts a two-stage extendable mixing structure, hitting a maximum working depth of 7 meters (5 meters base stroke plus an extra 2-meter extension). With steady hourly output ranging from 50 to 70 cubic meters and wide hydraulic adaptability, it balances deep penetration, reliable mixing efficiency and easy cross-site transport. Our global stock of spare parts also helps construction teams minimize downtime during tight project schedules.

The MTM330 features a reinforced long integrated frame, with overall dimensions of 7700mm × 1500mm × 1000mm and a working weight of 2,950kg. We reworked the frame layout to remove bulky exposed brackets and redundant external piping, making it simple to load into standard shipping containers for long-distance transport. It works well for moving between river dredging zones, industrial pollution remediation yards and long highway construction corridors.

Fitted with a heavy-duty standard quick hitch, this mixing head can be connected to compatible 30–45t excavators without any modification to the arm or hydraulic system. Operators retain full machine flexibility even when working on uneven wet riverbanks, deep foundation trenches or slippery industrial ground. Its unique 7-meter layered mixing depth handles ultra-deep soft ground consolidation, thick river silt stabilization and multi-layer contaminated soil treatment with ease. It avoids repeated layered construction required by shorter mixing attachments, and cuts the excessive fuel costs that come with deploying large fixed mixing rigs on medium-to-large distributed projects.

Custom matched hydraulic performance and adjustable rotational speed are the core strengths of the MTM330. All internal hydraulic components are tuned to match the oil supply output of 30–45 ton heavy excavators, supporting a hydraulic flow range of 200–350 L/min and a maximum working pressure of 34.5MPa. Rotation speed can be freely adjusted between 50–100 r/min, so crews can switch working modes based on real ground conditions.

The low-speed high-torque setting delivers strong cutting force for dense silt with gravel and compact hard clay. The high-speed blending mode provides even mixing when combining large amounts of curing agent with loose silt. We upgraded to a wider double spiral mixing drum and thickened high-chromium alloy stirring blades to eliminate unmixed dead zones entirely, sustaining stable production of 50–70 cubic meters every hour. The consistent high output greatly shortens construction periods for large-scale dredging, industrial soil remediation and highway foundation projects, solving the common problem of low productivity caused by poorly matched hydraulic power between heavy excavators and old mixing attachments.

Every load-bearing beam, drive shaft and mixing core part of the MTM330 is made from high-chromium wear-resistant alloy steel, formed via one-piece forging and surface quenching. This greatly improves resistance to abrasion and heavy impact when mixing high-moisture sludge, sticky clay and construction waste mixed soil.

Compared with oversize ultra-heavy mixing heads that add constant extra load to excavator arms and raise daily fuel bills, the 2,950kg balanced weight of MTM330 reduces arm wear and long-term running costs for contractors running year-round heavy treatment jobs. The fully sealed dust-proof outer shell and integrated low-noise hydraulic valve block effectively control construction dust and running noise, complying with noise and emission limits for residential areas, river ecological zones and farmland restoration sites. All stabilized silt and soft subsoil can be reused as backfill on-site, cutting waste haulage fees and supporting low-carbon construction standards widely required in international project tenders.

The MTM330 is equipped with intelligent self-adaptive hydraulic control, which automatically distributes flow and pressure in real time based on underground soil hardness and layer thickness. This ensures uniform mixing of raw soil, curing agents and additives across the full 7-meter working depth, with no need for secondary re-stirring. Its universal heavy quick coupler fits all mainstream 30–45 ton excavator brands globally, allowing one machine to switch freely between river dredging, deep highway subgrade reinforcement, farmland soil improvement and municipal pipeline backfill work.

For engineering companies managing multiple separate large projects at the same time, the MTM330 removes the need to rent several different soil improvement machines, lowering total spending on equipment purchase, cross-site transport and storage all at once.

MOTEK has built a complete product lineup covering light, medium, medium-heavy and heavy-duty soil mixing attachments to fit project sites of all sizes. The launch of MTM330 completes our heavy-duty mixing product range, targeting contractors focused on large river dredging, trunk highway deep foundation works and full-depth industrial contaminated site remediation.

Going forward, MOTEK will keep optimizing hydraulic attachments based on real feedback from global field crews. We will keep upgrading high-efficiency, deep-working heavy mixing models, expand local spare parts warehouses overseas and roll out faster on-site maintenance support. Our goal is to help construction teams worldwide boost project returns with energy-saving, multi-scenario deep soil stabilization attachments that cut overall project costs and shorten delivery timelines.
